Transporter Campervan Roofs
Which Models Do We Fit Elevated Roofs To?
The T4 was the first official ‘T’ Transporter model vehicle designated by Volkswagen. The models before this where known as ‘Type’ models. VW updated the T4 van to a Transporter model a front wheel drive and modern water cooled engine. The T4 is still popular today and you will see them in every day use.
In 2003 the T5 was born and is still a massive favourite among camper van enthusiasts. It’s probably the most popular transporter on the market and for good reason. With it’s sleek stylish looks, this facelift model was and still is extremely popular. The T5 was also the first ever van in the world to introduce the dual clutch transmission!
The T6 was not as ground breaking as previous models. It’s really an updated T5 but with the latest mod-cons and gadgets demanded by the modern day driver! The van was introduced in 2016 and is still the latest model in the range. This model usually has a more up to date look, with alloy wheels, aerodynamic panels and a minimalist interior.
Which ever model you decide to go with, you will be happy with your purchase and all of these VW Transporter models are perfect for fitting a elevating roof.
